Servisair expands its LAX portfolio with ramp handling for Asiana
Servisair is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a new contract at Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT)- Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) for the handling of two Asiana Airlines daily flights.
The contract includes ramp handling, cabin cleaning, cargo drayage, as well as daily aircraft towing for gate repositioning.
The contract involved major coordination efforts and constant communication with the client to assure that all their requirements were met and exceeded. Daniele Da Pont, Corporate Sales and Marketing Manager for Servisair, commented: “We are extremely pleased to have added this strategic carrier to our TBIT customer portfolio. The contract took effect on Aug. 1st, 2011. Servisair has been performing a wide range of services at LAX since 1967 and it employs in excess of 650 employees, servicing 17 national and international scheduled carriers for “below-wing” ramp handling and 18 carriers for Into-Plane fueling services.
