Servisair is pleased to confirm that they have secured a contract to provide ground handling services to US Airways in Birmingham, UK effective 13 May 2009.

The multi-year deal covers full passenger and ramp handling for the carrier’s five weekly operations to Philadelphia. The seasonal summer route will be operated with Boeing 757 ETOPS aircraft, making Birmingham the fifth UK destination that US Airways will serve.

Commenting on the new business, Darren Harding, Vice President Business Development, Servisair said, “We are pleased to have won this contract and look forward to delivering a high quality service to US Airways and their passengers. It reinforces our ability to secure business at cost effective rates in a highly competitive marketplace.”
